Staff Member: Ann O'Brien
Welcome Ann O’Brien to our parish staff as a part-time “Pastoral Minister” focusing on discipleship and evangelization. Ann will work with our team in a variety of capacities but her primary role will be to assist Father Andy in his desire to move the parish from “Membership to Discipleship.” Ann has worked in ministry for the past 23 years, having served in parish life, diocesan youth retreats, and in campus ministry at Marywood University for the past 15 years where she coordinated faith based mission trips and community outreach. In her own words, Ann “takes great joy in bringing people together, building a sense of community and inviting others to use their gifts and talents in service to God and to others.” Ann holds a bachelors degree in Human Services from the University of Scranton and her M.S.W is from Marywood University. She completed the Liturgy Certificate Program from the Pastoral Formation Institute in the Diocese of Scranton .Ann is married to Christopher O’Brien and has a 5 year old daughter, Sarah. They reside in Jessup.
We warmly welcome Ann to our parish staff/team and we pray that God will bless her and our parish as she begins this new ministry.
