Congratulations! To become married is one of the most important endeavors of a couple’s life. Jesus raised marriage to the dignity of a Sacrament. In the Sacrament of Marriage, or Matrimony, a baptized man and a baptized woman become living signs of Christ's love for his Church. They freely choose to make a life-long commitment to love and respect each other and to be open to be the gift and blessing of children.
This commitment is a holy covenant sealed by God. They receive the special grace to serve each other, their family, and the Church. The Catholic Church considers this so important that we want couples well-prepared and ready for this vocation. For wedding preparation, please contact the Parish Office by email at [email protected] or by calling 570-383-3244 to make an appointment with Fr. Andrew Kurovsky.
