Sunday, September 17th- Msgr. Madus' Retirement Party, RSVP required, Noon to 3pm, Auditorium and church grounds 

Wednesday, Sept 20th – Fr. Andy Kurovsky arrives to be the new Pastor; Msgr retires becoming the Pastor Emeritus.

Sunday, November 5th - Designer Purse Bingo Fall Fundraiser (In place of the Flea Fest), 3pm Parish Auditorium



First Friday Eucharistic Adoration 

Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish offers Eucharistic Adoration on the First Friday of each month from 7:20 am until 8:00pm. Adults commit to spending a hour in the presence of Our Lord. Sign up sheets are placed at both entrances of the church the weekend preceding the First Friday of the month and during that week. You may also call the parish office to sign up for a time slot. All are welcome anytime during the adoration period.

First Friday Rosary Devotion

The Prayer Line Ministry meets every month to pray the rosary at 9:00am for all intentions called in to the prayer line. All are welcome to join and pray. 


Annual Events

Annual Summer Flea & Food Festival -  No Festival in Fall 2017

2016: Our Summer Flea & Food Fest will be held August 13-15, 2016 in the parish auditorium on Saturday 8am to 6pm, Sunday and Monday 8am to 4pm. Bulletin announcements will be posted weekly with more inform-ation. Many volunteers are needed and there is a job for everyone! All those interested in offering their time, please call the parish office. The event will be chaired once again by Elaine and Michael Henzes along with Nancy Boyce heading up the kitchen. Collection dates are set for July 30 - August 10.  Please leave items under the roof near the kitchen entrance on the Mott Street side of the building.  For larger items, please call the parish office to make arrangements. Suggested items as donations include: toys, pictures, dishes, old jewelry, small pieces of furniture, plant stands, coats (adult & children), quilts/spreads, new unused toiletry items, unused gifts. We plan to find a home for everything. Any unsold items will be donated to local charities. (Please do not bring curtains/draperies, clothing, encyclopedias/text books, old computers, printers or TVs.)

Annual Roast Beef Dinner

2016:  Our Annual Parish Roast Beef Dinner is slated for Sunday, October 2, 2016 in the auditorium with take-outs beginning at  11am and seated dining from 12:00 noon with final seating at  3:00 pm. Please saved the dates and plan on supporting these parish events which fund our designated improvements.
